Why Co-Active Coaching?

Because it involves the active and collaborative participation of both the coach and the client. In this method, coaching is not about problem solving, although problems will be solved. It is not primarily about improving performance, attaining goals or achieving results, although all of those things will certainly happen over time in an effective Co-Active Coaching relationship.

Coaching is more about discovery, awareness and choice. It is a way of effectively empowering you to find your own answers, encouraging and supporting you on the path as you continue to make important life-giving and life-changing choices.

Every situation has possibilities and you really do have the power of choice in your life. As a coach, I listen to the very best in you even when you can't hear it yourself and I will be someone who cares that you create what you say you want and that you follow through when you choose.

What is it Co-Active coaching?

The Co stands for "being" and all other receptive qualities that are part of this state, while the Active stands for "doing" and all active qualities. The Co-Active coach goal is to help individuals to stand on the hyphen and to be able to switch between the Co and the Active in an seamless way.

In a world where 95% of the people is stuck in the Active state, balance is lost and the result could be what we call the "burn out syndrome" and we should not be surprised when that happens. The active state is masculine state, represented by fire and it can indeed burn you out if we sit there too long!

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
