ABOUT ME.

Being a coach feels like swimming to me.

It’s very immediate, all-enveloping, and every session is a welcome challenge. It engages all my senses and demands that I immerse myself completely. What could be more delightful?  It’s like the fluidity of water, its nature suggests infinite forms and possibilities. It’s adaptable and powerful. Bruce Lee said, “Be water, my friend,” because water can take on any shape it wants to, and so can we.

My clients often tell me that this is what I was meant to do and I think that they are right because when I engage with people it feels like I have found my true calling. It’s taken me a long time to get here, but I’m glad I followed my passion and grateful for the opportunity.

 

YOGA & CREATIVITY.

I think Yoga is a complimentary calling because it makes me feel grounded and connected to people when I teach it. Getting my teaching certificate is something I dreamed about ever since I began practicing in 2005, then  my dream came true, and now it helps me to stay present in my body, while I am coaching. I express my own creativity through improvisational theatre (maybe because that’s what life is!) but for you, it may take something completely different to stir your soul. Do you know what that is? What do you want to be, but think you can’t?

I’m enjoying learning to sing too for the sheer joy of it, and also because it helps me to liberate my voice and to dismantle my fears, but most of all I love coaching.

MY BACKGROUND

Before coaching, I worked for 20 years in the corporate world, and this took me to many different countries. Along the way I met lots of extraordinary people who opened my eyes to the possibilities that we all hold within us. When I worked for The New York Times I had a coach who helped me and laid the foundations for my coaching passion. She helped me to see that a task is more than just a task. It’s who we become while we are doing it that matters. I became fascinated with human behaviour and relationships and I think that’s what led me to the life I have now.

Every day I enjoy helping people discover their inner potential and unlock their creativity. Finding out what we really want and taking control of our lives isn’t always easy, but as a coach, I can create a safe space where you can explore new possibilities for growth.

Some of us are held back by the assumption that we can’t change, but I know it’s possible because I’ve seen it happen. I bring energy to every meeting. I am intuitive, with a gentle voice and a firm approach, and I am committed to the well-being of every client. I bring focus and presence to groups and individuals. I support  them in finding their own calling.
